Haiku Medley

This is just a hodgepodge of haikus I whipped up tonight. Hope you enjoy at least one or two of them!

Wind chimes in the breeze

Sing stories of other lands

Carry me away

--

Old branches creaking

Snoring like old men asleep

Will they wake again?

--

The crimson bird sings

To hasten the morning light

Awakening sky

--

Ripples in the brook

Obscure the stones below; its

Secrets remain safe

--

Leaves are tumbling

by the park bench; they settle

to warm the chilled earth.

--

The butterfly sits

on sweet marigold cushions

a gilded palace

--

Sheets of clouds roll in

to shapes of children's musings

Can you imagine?

The End
