Matter

Slowly I sink into your sea

Deeper, as the sunlight

fades out of my perspective.

Enveloped by you

Completely, I am

Obscured from the trees--

The sky I once claimed

as my own.

And as I become you

I decompose

The deeper, the slower,

The less of me goes

'Til all that remains

is matter decaying--

Minute particles

Less effected by gravity.

Yet even as one with you

I remain

insatiable.

Desire defies us,

Still high above us

in the wind.

The End
