Have you ever stood, perched

waiting

waiting...

waiting.........

for gravity to take hold?

Wondering why it hasn't.

And how long until it does?

straddling time.

Not quite then, and not quite now.

Stuck between past and future,

so that there's two nows.

And then gravity remembers

and your moment is over.
