Given Way to Darkness
No Smile on her face
No Brightness in her Eyes,
No Roses in her Cheeks,
No Laughter escaping her Lips
She is Drained
Of Happiness.
Of Love.
Of Life.
Her eyes,
distant and dull
Gentle Face
Vacant and Expressionless
She sees, hears, and feels
Nothing...
Inside something has given way to darkness
This Emptiness.
This Blackness.
That is eating away at her heart.
