Get Back to Reality

THis is dedicated to Shannon Taylor, whose beautiful mind frolick inspired this poem.

In my mind,

the world is great.

There is no pain,

there is no fate.

Time stops,

birds sing,

life's a pretty melody.

Daffodils swing in the breeze,

smell the smell of cherry trees.

Feel the soft wind in your hair,

frolick in the lazy air.

But, then it's all ripped away-

Get back,

back to reality.

The End
