Snapped Strings- Retied.

You spotted me,
I was returning from home,
You were taking a break
From the job you'd had.
A mere coincidence,
A cross of paths,
That left an impression,
I knew would last.

It'd been way too long,
Almost a year now,
You'd remembered me,
And I was so happy to see you.
So much time had passed,
That year had flew,
And I realized then
How much I'd missed you.

A lost friendship refound,
A snapped string retied,
Formed at unlikely times
A meeting by pure chance
A mere coincidence,
A cross of paths
That left an impression
I knew would last.

The End
