Like sparkling stars on a dim lit night
Friends shine through in luster bright
They’re the ones who help keep us robust
As darkening clouds their menace thrust

For friends are ones who keep us strong
As on Life’s tricky path we trudge along
They are the ones who are always there
As sturdy anchors of love and care

Friends as loving, though are nothing new
They are, but there for a Lucky few
Trust them we do, to be always there
As starry nights on milky- ways fare

Life without them is lonely and dark
Missing them, with their absence stark
Darling hearts as precious gifts remain
Within, and around our life’s domain.
