Born to be lost in the labyrinth of my hometown
All I ever learned was to accept the inevitable
Yet I still desire the liberty of vast oceans
for the distant lands hidden by the horizon

If there was a way to leave this all behind
I’d say my farewells and never look back
Maybe live alone in the eye of the storm
upon a foundation of surf and written word

But I’d be stolen by the rising tide
with foolish thoughts of a nirvana
free from here

If only I was free from here
Free from here
Free from here
With only what fills my heart
with purpose

The End
