Say My Name

Thunder cracks in Heaven's sky
Lightening reveals such darkness here
But through the black and windy night
Not one cloud has shed a tear

I suppose I should explain
Just how
I came
To adore the rain

Dust permeates the air
The moon illuminates
An ocean of despair
Seen tonight, but never heard

I suppose I should explain
Just how
I claim
To have forgotten my own name

Life is just a storybook
Someone keeps erasing words
And if we never find the end
Well, that's just how the pages turn

I suppose you should think me insane
That tonight
I'm afraid
Bastian won't say my name

The End
