Forget Not/Release

Forget not who we cease to know

And bury down the voices,

For fires die from watered attempts

But from the rubble grows roses.

Forget not who we cease to know

And let the day come to rest,

For just because you trusted so

Just because was not enough.

Forget not who threw knives at us

Without seeing their faces with guilt,

For when the time comes,

Because it will,

Those knives will return to their masters.

Forget not what you were taught

By those who could not teach,

For behind the veils

Of darkness hides,

A friend who can't be revealed.

So forget not all you see

But forget those you can not hate,

For those appeal to your disgrace

Upon your stupefied state.

The End
