For You

My soul splits asunder,

Spilling light caged only by skin,

While outer selves play poker,

And insides rage, kin against kin.

All the forces of me against each other for you.

My heart is broken,

Shattered in to fragments like ice

Small to fit through the eye of a needle,

That grip my lungs in icy vice.

All the forces of me against each other for you.

The End
