Flying

©1995 Nick Robinson (FTH Ch 5, pg 58)

Flying, flying, through the air

Living and loving without a care

But sooner, or later,

You’ve gotta land somewhere

But we flew so fast, that we past

Any chance to land anywhere

But man were we flying

And we were having fun

We had to have been doing

At least mach one

And we didn’t care

That from flying so fast

That with all that power

We were burning gas

Then, with all that power

And the fuel we’d burned

We reached the point

Of no return

Flying, flying, through the air

Living and loving without a care

But sooner, or later,

You’ve gotta land somewhere

But we flew so fast, that we past

Any chance to land anywhere

The End
