Flowing

Recommend

Gazing at your absent body,
I think of a time when you were here
When your smile brightened up the room.
When your eyes shined like the moon.
Here come the tears-
Flowing.

This loss has broken me.
This is what I feared.
The rain drops tap the roof.
These are your tears-
Flowing.

Although my heart has shattered,
It will eventually mend,
because I'll see you someday-
This isn't the end.
But for now, I'll mourn,
Listening to the tap-tap
of your tears-
Flowing.

Until then, I'll stay here,
standing in your corrupted tracks,
silently waiting
to be with you once more.
I know you'll watch over me-
You'll never leave me.
You're gazing down at me,
at my tears-
Flowing.
