First Letters

Nothing could have warned that life was
Ready to thrust me into a
Maze from which I
Grabbed at no chance to escape.

Joy, I knew, but not these
Waves of rapture. Tsunamis
Suddenly refreshing all that I am.

Just a flash of you; like rainbow
Stripes disappearing around a corner.
Never has something so fleeting caused a
Grin so wide.

Nagging bells interrupt the
Gaze that speaks. A gaze that sings of a captivating
Jewel amongst a clutter of
Senseless bracelets.

The End
