FAREWELL.

I lay exposed to the world,

And all it's empty pain,

No-one can cover me,

I just lay here and wait.

Not sure why I'm waiting,

But I'm sure my day will come,

The day I lay in waking fear,

And accept my fate, be done.

That's what they would like,

I guess it's what I owe,

Just to keep going,

To move on and let go.

I will never forget,

All we had, my dear,

But your memory I compress,

For terror of dropping tears.

The End
