The Lonely Doctor

(Taken from the episode of Dr Who where The Doctor and Rose have to say goodbye. One of my favourite episodes)

 I searched the world

the water, the earth

I searched the skies

The stars, the moon

I searched for years

and never stopped

But I never once found you.

I dreamt I heard

your voice one day

Whispering my name

And so I ran to follow it

to see you one last time

And finally I found

you on the edge of

Bad-Wolf-Beach...

You smiled as

you saw me

My poor

Lonely Doctor

and thanked me

for the days we had

the memories we shared

Your time was short

The gap would close

Forever and a day

And so our time had

finished, it was time to

say goodbye

We smiled

through our tears

you know I loved you

till the end

And then you paused

and said to me

'Rose Tyler, I..'

You were gone.

I searched the world

the water, the earth

I searched the skies

The stars, the moon

I searched for years

and never stopped

But I never found you again.

The End
