mirror madness

white windows of light

brown dots

here I see splotches

splatter paint spots

three blemishes

self scissor-cut hair

wrinkled blouse

I can't seem to care

too exposed maybe

to my own windswept heart

bruises on my body

mark stargazing chart

blisters and calluses

taken to too much pride

if beauty is skin deep

my mind is only wide

this false notion

that someone will find

my intestines quite pleasant

my heart so kind

The End
