Falling and Flying

I wanted the fall that would feel like flying

The utter freedom of twisting in the air

The scream of exhilaration.

Leaping from the highest point,

Imagine the wings,

Imagine the numbing rush

When the flight ends

And the fall begins.

Cut off by the dark waters,

Dropping like a stone -

Why not stay in the moment

Before death forever?

The wide-eyed excitement and adrenaline

I wanted an eternal fall.

The End
