So we lived happy ever after.

Well, until the rows began.

He thought I was the perfect woman,

I held him the ideal man,

But my beliefs and his were different,

As it often is the way.

Whilst I valued my new freedom,

He expected me to stay

At home, his "cinders". Bake and clean

For him. My feelings little mattered,

So long as he was in control.

My love, like a glass slipper, shattered.

The End
