HumanMature

An empty soul
fractured
cracked
locked in the cavern
that is the
human body
A lifeless heart
and shattered mind
to keep the soul company
Dimmed eyes
and a broken smile
brought to life
after half a mile
A whole soul
and beating heart
the glued mind
flesh and bone
stuck together
while some
fall apart
what will it take
to fix all the parts?
See broken things
can often be fixed
but
there's one more thing
Have you asked yourself
how broken you are?
Yet
you are only human
So there is an excuse
and a cause
little flaws
and faults
it's okay to love them
though some rather not
those things make you human
and that's it
right
You've got to be human.
