Everybody's Mate

I know a man who thinks he's great

He thinks he's everybody's mate

The truth be known - he's such a bore

A lying hypocrite,  what's more!

Time would stand still for quite a while

I he ever tried to crack a smile

Everything he says is right

To argue means you've got a fight

He been there, seen that, done it too

If you tell him things you'd like to do

Tell him things you know about

And he just throws in the seeds of doubt

He makes me feel downright irate!

But it's just not worth my case to state.........
