every stepMature

spoken word poetry

For every step I take forward I take one step back, never forget who you are or what's in your past dusty old books filled with memories broken down records stuck on repeat locked up in a case never knowing who started this chase. so I put my chaser in my cup and I start chasing who I think is chasing me, my minds gone whack and I can see looking into a blinds mans life wondering how things can be if you cant see what's beautiful to you and me? my words they roar like the lions mouth with the strength of 10,000 men my words echo across the sea travel thorough air to a dead mans ear, rattle the bars that keep me in wasting away paper thin looking into the looking glass see a painful smile and make it last a one night stand that will forever be just that... nothing.

The End
