Familliar Echoes

You are so young.

Your whole life

Just empty Pages

Pleading to be filled.

An ocean of freedom

Sprinkled with the glitter

Of the sparkling Sun.

You are so naive.

Don't you see? Already

A raincloud is forming.

The threat of thunder

Will overcast you for

The rest of your life.

You need to get out now.

You are so alone.

No one to turn to;

The exits are all blocked.

You'll retrace the

Steps of a hundred

Before you. Familiar

Echoes to the walls.

You were so young.

Your whole life,

Scrawls on pages

You can't erase.

A dark sea of pain

Littered with reflections

Of what could have been.

The End
