Rainbow Sailing

Upward they sailed along the colorful river

The cold air blew in and Dave started to shiver.

"Where are we going, Mr. Seamus O'Greary?

I'm anxious to know; Please tell me clearly."

Seamus looked at Dave incredulously.

"Ye mean ye never 'erd 'o where the rainbows lead?"

"What is a rainbow?" Dave eagerly asked,

and the boat sort of jolted as the Irishman gasped.

"It's what yer ridin' on! you silly wee mole,

and if ye ride end to end, ye'll find lots of gold!"

Dave had heard stories of gold, and he knew

He'd find some, no matter WHAT he'd have to do.

The End
