The creatures were quick, but little Dave was quicker,

He had to move fast or things were going to get thicker

He grabbed both little beasts as they hissed and they groaned

And knocked heads together, and they fell away as though stoned

The light was calling him he had to worn Molemullian kind

Then suddenly without warning the cave started to rumble

And Dave couldn't help himself he tipped around and stumbled

He fell into a boulder that suddenly shook from place,

It rolled down a hill after disturbed from its case

It smashed into a bridge and Dave realized with fright

That he had cut off the town from the rest of Molemullian might
