Empty Shell

Oh, stop wasting your lives reading the summary and read the poem!!!

I can't see you

There is nothing to be seen

Just a plain, boring shell

Doesn't sparkle, doesnt gleam.

Can't see below the surface

Just the simple screen

That hides you from the world

And prevents you from being seen.

But then you hear a crackling noise

And turn around to see,

You've blossomed out from beneath your shell-

You're the most beautiful thing I've seen.

But sometimes, by an awful chance

When it opens up - Well,

It's clear as day there's nothing there,

Just an empty shell.

The End
