EmptinessMature

I wrote this in June of 2014. I had a conversation with a friend of mine and she was talking about how empty she felt, so I decided I should write a poem about it. Hope you enjoy! Feedback, please and thank you.

That pretty precious body...

All brown and sweet

Not knowing what to do with it...

Except lay in them sheets

You lay down spreading your thighs

For a BOY that'll never love you

Giving him your special treasure

You have a emptiness inside

Wanting to be filled from the

attention of a guy

Not knowing what will happen tomorrow

When you wake up, he'll be gone

With no sorrow for you, or the next to come

That pretty precious body...

All brown and right

Temporarily damaged...

Due to last night

Wishing he'll come back to you

No phone call, text, email...

Now, what do you do?

The End
