Fireflies

That little warm glow
A beat of the heart
Cherry blossom blooms
Like an open bullet wound
Sweet life grows
Spiraling through the grass
A weed of the mind
Wings beating together

Alone
Gliding through
Open windows
Heart cut open
Glow dispersed
Anger nurtures anger
That anger makes
The cherry blossom bloom

Single bloom
Left alone
Fireflies aglow
Happy and free
Single bloom alone
Until the wind come
And sets it free
Into the night of Fireflies

To fly like a loved heart
That shall be the day
When nobody dies
When we lie beneath the stars
Alight like the Fireflies
If everyone loved
That cherry blossom
Then every heart
Would be its own

Firefly

The End
