Death By Design

Post a phrase, lift your pen

They’ll shred you like the lion’s den

Toss a word, a line, some prose,

They’ll pull your ego out your nose

Put your literature up for a beat

A writer’s death you’ll surely meet

Pentameter, commas, quotes and exposition

They’ll tear you down from top position

Search the profiles for a friend on the site

You write your good morning, they’ll write your good night.

Comments, additions, you can take your chances

They’ll destroy your thoughts with obnoxious branches

Want a five a four or three?

They’ll drop a one, cut you off at the knee

Write a chapter on protagonize

That will take you down to size.

The End
