Dying without You

Trace a heart into the wet sand
our names beneath in the trinity
Stolen as we are, for the needs of others
let’s do our best to make this perfection last

I taste poison in the shallow depths of tomorrow
we can stay a little longer even as storm gathers
Please don’t cry, just hold me because
I fear I will suffer from your departure

Nuclear flames upon the tranquil ice
I could pretend to live knowing you are there for me
I still wade through the oceans of sorrow
dying, just dying without you
like the embers which we were formed

The End
