DON'T EDIT THE PASSION AWAY

A poem about how over-editing a story or piece of writing makes it sound emotionless.

A spellcheck addiction or editing craze,

Can bring a story to the end of it's days,

The passion freezes and disappears,

The success is limited, failure leers,

The feeling is gone, characters are dead inside,

Conformity, conformity, you don't have to abide,

By it's laws and pointless rules,

Raw writing, raw emotion will blossom into jewels.

The End
