Do Not Look

Do not look,

For what is true

Has whispered

To the darkness

Of the caves.

Rain

Pours

Down

Your

Face,

Dripping lightly

On your pale skin.

But the light

Of what has come

Is gone

Into the hope of

What

We

Have

Done.

Sound waves,

Low vibrations,

The humming of the

Endangered whales,

Keeping

Safe

In our minds.

But it is our soul

That is empty

Of the darkness,

The hope

The longing

The faith

The rain

The sour fruit

The stamina

The barren trees

The dark colors

The vibrant song

The ocean

The mountains

The snow

The storm.

Love.

And all that is lost

Is found

In the abundant soul

Of the renewed.

The End
