Do It

©1995 Nick Robinson (FTH Ch 2, pg 16)

Don’t bat an eye

Don’t give it a thought

Just turn your back

And continue to walk

Walk away from me

Walk away from us

Don’t say a word

Don’t make a fuss

Just listen to the words

That others will say

Don’t do it for you

Just do it their way

And with rabbit ears

And bats eyes

You’ve changed your path

And changed our lives

Now with all their help

And guiding hands

You’ll build a new life

According to plan

But sooner, or later

Sometime, someday

You should do something for yourself

And do it your way

The End
