Déjà Vu

Stepping on magnolia blossoms, white tears

shed yearly, fragments once whole scattered like a heart

             broken.

I have walked this path before, this path covered with

   magnolia blossoms, white tears

           shed.

Staring into the moon, the moon below

a white face, a candle wavering in a pool of

          darkness.

I have gazed into this mirror before, this mirror filled with

the moon, a white face, a wavering

          candle.

Gazing into future, the face of fate

a white face, a candle wavering in a pool of

         dreams.

I have been here once before, stepping on magnolia blossoms

white tears, fragments scattered like a broken

       nightmare.
