And here you are again
in my head like a dream
your lips like a seal
parting to meet with mine
the taste seeping through
drenching me in wonder
and I wish I could kiss it into your skin
the letters splayed from your fingertips to your bones
because it burns like a fire
something never ending
sweeping through my veins
and it keeps going
our lips never meant to part
Fingers searching and pulling
setting more and more aflame
and oh, if I could,
I'd kiss the flames into your skin
all over your lips and fingertips
but you're just out of reach
too far to touch,
and set ablaze.

The End
