A Waters Love

Every time I tried to hold you,
you slipped through my fingers and arms.
I see you sparkle and as I watch you move to and fro'
my throat grows dry.
I realize I need you,
but as I reach,
you move away with a glittering dance.
I give chase, you luring me on,
But it seems what I saw was only a mirage.
Nothing but a trick of my eye,
has led me to where I'll collapse and die.

The End
