Devil's Echo
I danced to the echo of the beginning
And my sins weigh heavy down on my heart
I look at the pages of my life and I despair
Cursing an karma that’s far from fair
The music that plays to a Devil’s direction
And how it pumps my heart into overdrive
It turns black what was pure, section by section
And brings a blood red colour to the skies
How this sensation reigns over me
I prey for purity and vice as one
How this sensation reigns over me
How it flickers and plays with me
A cruel way, horror and pleasure at once
Another day, another day to change my fate
Should I work in vain or acknowledge I’m wicked?
Another day, another day for my purity to break
Controlling me, ever so sweetly and subtly
Consumed with a power so seductive
I glanced into my own heart and wept
The path I wondered so destructive
How this sensation reigns over me
I prey for purity and vice as one
How this sensation reigns over me
