Delilah

Do you recognize Delilah

Sitting with the lilacs

And singing a fair tune?

Delilah-e, Delilah-o.

Roses,

bells,

fairy spells,

Delilah-e, Delilah-o.

When the frost of winter

Turns warm on the almanacs,

Will you smell her perfume?

Leafless,

Sweetness

Sincere sereneness,

Up where you are, down there you shall go.

Do you recognize Delilah

Sitting with the lilacs

And singing a fair tune?

Delilah-e, Delilah-o.

Roses,

bells,

fairy spells,

Delilah-e, Delilah-o.

Winds a-coming to thy mind,

Bring blossoming flowers

That yell their silent "I'll be back"s.

Coldness,

Coolness,

Warmness,

Steal the clouds, free the sun and go.

Do you recognize Delilah

Sitting with the lilacs

And singing a fair tune?

Delilah-e, Delilah-o.

Roses,

bells,

fairy spells,

Delilah-e, Delilah-o.

The End
