The Darkest Edge

See the one that walks on the darkest edge
Of the darkest night after the darkest day
There he is falling, down into the gloom
All because he walked on that darkest edge.

And now he is falling, still further down.
A bottomless pit, a futureless hell
Still he, the coward, shrinks from the light
And so he is falling, still further down.

The End
