Well the 
damn 
cogs don't fit.

Like,
the wheels turn;

yeah, those

golden threads of
shine.

Hard
to
piece together
these
shards
of meaning
these
shards of
these
pieces of
a clock
a masterpiece.
A watch.

yet you struggle
master craftsman
fiddle with the
toothed rim of bridge
to fit these pieces together
you
master craftsman
you.

I watch as this
master
performs the very same task
as I,
for his own weight in gold
I wonder how many watches
that will buy him
how much time
he has been given.
