DCLXVI

Don’t you take away my shares
Cry out into the nightmares
Life spent digging for god’s gold.
X marks the spot on your soul.
Victory found only in the fire.
I don’t like when you call me a liar.

Shake my hand and raise a toast.
Tell me what you want the most.
Throw it all away when it’s time to die.

Damned is my blatant intention,
Call me for a winning sensation.
Leaking crimson wrung from whetstone,
X-rays show its made of bone.
Vicious looking femur-sharpened blade
I promise you the sword is home made.

Shake my hand and raise a toast.
Tell me what you want the most.
Throw it all away when it’s time to die.

Down it quick before the tongue kiss.
Crazed looking smirk on your lips.
Lets me know that we've got a deal.
Xanax and wine will make it a steal.
Very tired now, you should just rest your head.
I’ll only linger a while after you’re dead.

Shake my hand and raise a toast.
Tell me what you want the most.
Throw it all away when it’s time to die.
