Days Like These

Recommend

My fingers slide across a chain-link fence,

My smile's to the sky,

My thoughts are my own to keep

But sometimes I wonder why.

There's love in the heart of my surroundings,

There is always will to try,

There's always someone who will listen,

But sometimes I wonder why.

On days like these, when the sky is blue,

On days like these, we try,

On days like these we want to be together,

But sometimes I wonder why.

And so I'll detach myself from this crowded hall,

And so I'll spread my wings to fly,

And so I'll fill up with the cloudless blue

And I'll forget to wonder why.
