Darkest Light

The main theme of this is betrayal

Reflected by the stars

Somewhere in the deep I've always known

Threads intertwine and break just as fast

I'm far past the point of returning home

Love is given to tender peace

But shattered forever by revelations

A thinly veiled secret yet unspoken

You're far past the point of salvation

Take what's yours and burn

This visage has turned to ashes

Take what's yours and run

There's nothing left but ruin

Hearts carved up and souls assaulted

Hands reach out, I find myself repulsed

The crack in the heart as it faulted

There's nothing left for you but pain

Unfailingly dark, a lack of stars

Somewhere in the deep malice stirs

As my heart turns to implode

You're far past the point of returning home

Take what's yours and burn

This visage has turned to ashes

Take what's yours and run

There's nothing left but ruin

The End
