Dark Paradise

describing the dark regions of my mind

Everyone has a place in their mind that they go to, and unlike everyone else, mine is very different.

Mine is a dark and cold paradise.

Where monsters hide in the shadows, and light seems non-existant.

The river is colored like blood, and is filled with the cries of sorrow.

There is no light here, but peace does have it moments, for when the fighting stops, the silence that follows is welcoming, and something that I look forward to each day.
