The world

As my eyes see it

Is washed with white

How can this

The perpetual night

Be so bright?

My breath

So close and sharp

Like my stubborn strife.

I gulp down

Every last piercing knife

Why do they call it air?

It's meant to be free and

Instead it resembles

My fist

Once before.

That path is long and winding.

Can I make it down that road

To being me again?

Why is your light

So bright?

The End
