GLASSY HEART (THE PHANTOM)

MY HEART IS MADE OF GLASS,

IT GLITTERS IN THE MOONLIGHT,

IT DANCES BY THE FIRELIGHT,

WHY DOES EVERYTHING HAVE TO BE SO BRIGHT?

MY HEART SEES WHAT I SEE,

MY HEART FEELS WHAT I FEEL,

MY HEART CRIES WHEN I CRY,

WHY ISN’T AN ANGEL THIS NIGHT?

MY HEART NURTURES ME TO SLEEP,

TO SLEEP, A SLEEPLESS NIGHT,

TO DREAM, THE DREAM, I THOUGHT I COULD NEVER SEE,

BUT NOW I AM SO BLIND, I CAN’T ADMIT, THAT I’M REALLY FEELING IT,

MY HEART IS RIGHT,

I SHOULDN’T FIGHT,

EVERYTHINGI SAY AND DO, WILL BE PLACED UPON YOU,

FOR THIS I APOLOGISE, I WASN’T MEANT TO HURT ANYONE,

ESPECIALLY YOU,

IT WOULD HAVE TAKEN JUST A FEW WORDS,

TO END WHY MIND SAW COMING,

BUT EVERYTHING, I THOUGHT TO DO,

WOULD END UP HURTING YOU,

SO NOW I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO,

AM I TRULY SEEING YOU?

I KNOW WHAT I WANT IS YOU,

SO NOW I LAY MY GLASSY HEART UPON THIS TABLE,

AND GIVE YOU THE CHOICE,

IT ISN’T LIFE OR DEATH,

IT’S MORE IF YOU WANT ME IN YOUR LIFE, OR NOT,

FOR THIS IS THE QUESTION, I KEEP RIDDLING OVER,

SO NOW YOU KNOW THE RULES,

LET THE GAME BEGIN.

-         ‘THE ONE THING IN LIFE, A MAN IS LOOKING FOR, IS HIS OUT CLAUSE AND I THINK I JUST FOUND MINE. IT IS YOU, FOR MY ENDS, JUST CAN’T GET OFF YOU, SO LET THIS BE IT, A FRESH START FOR ME, NEW GAME, OLD TACTICS, NOW LETS SEE THE FIREWORKS, AS THIS GAME BEGINS’

The End
