Copper Sun

To me, you gave a copper sun:
a dim light to penetrate my darkness.
When I could not find my way,
your heart left a trail to follow.

In the dusk, your copper sun radiated.
Such a dull metal—
yet it illuminates,
like the scorching flames of galaxy.

This copper sun that guides our dreams
splits the somber road.
The oblivion shutters when we walk this road,
and from your soul, the pavement is unearthed.

To me, you gave a copper sun:
a dim light to cut through my darkness.
And when my heart was drowned in black,
you taught me how to love again.

The End
