I am everything and nothing all at once.

My heart beats the song of fallen stars,

I am a son of supernovae.

This violet firmament mocks my insignificance,

she speaks in subtle tongue

taunting me to strip her of veils.

Yet I cannot believe her complexity could ever be conceived.

I must try. I will try.

My life is but a breath in the span of galaxies,

My time on earth but a glimpse.

If I should die upon the morrow

how content my soul would be

to witness just a breath of this universe.

Her Spirit keeps me humble, I am less than microscopic.

Her Spirit is my passion,

I am one with life.

My heart beats the song of infinite perspectives,

life and death cycled twixt the rhythms of nature and follies of humanity.

The End
