Contemplate

i'm always thinking ... This poem expresses my thoughts on contemplation itself

I like it when I’ve time to think

Time to consider the words love and hate

To decide which is better, purple or pink

And to think of other more important things – time and date

But this is all insignificance

When I’ve got time to contemplate

How does that affect me?

Whose love do I require?

How much can a human see?

How much can one admire?

How do you define reality?

What’s behind desire?

One can’t define normality

One can’t be everything

Some people cannot dance

Some people cannot sing

Yet how has one time for little things

When considering everything?

How were things developed?

What was first thought of death?

We take air in and let it out

But why is this air breath?

Questions take you anywhere

And I’m sure lots of others care

But how do you define yourself?

Character, hobbies, money or health?

What am I on this massive Earth?

What am I really worth?

Ask yourself and ask again?

What’s behind suffering and pain?

I like it when I’ve time to think

Time to consider the words love and hate

To decide which is better, purple or pink

And to think of other more important things – time and date

But this is all insignificance

When I’ve got time to contemplate

The End
