Common Ground

Recommend

Just because we argue
doesn't mean we should fight,
now our relationship is compromised
because I think I'm right.
Yes I know I said things that
I could not take back,
but I wish you wouldn't fly
right off the handle like that.

You're over sensitive
and I can be cruel,
and when you start to cry
I look like a fool.
Why can't we just be mature
and act like adults,
instead of finger pointing:
saying its all your fault.

I try to understand you
and I try not to yell,
so why is it you feel that
you should put me through hell?
Maybe some compassion is
all you're looking for,
well, maybe you should find
another guy who has more.
